Sign reads: 1 in 3 Native and Alaskan Native American women are raped at some point in their lives. That’s 13% more than the national average for all women in the US. 86% of the violators are white males.
Most victims do NOT recieve justice and are victimized. America continues to appropriate and hyper sexualize Native culture.
I am Seneca. Native women must be heard. American culture enables the targeting of Native women and disregards justice for us.

Nanci Rossov directs this cross-cultural drama about captured Native Americans enrolled in a turn of the century “Negro” college. The film opens with Richard (Chuma Hunter-Gault) and Cleola (Tembi Locke) announcing their engagement. Though the college prides itself on its integrationist philosophy, the sharp-witted Cleola soon chafes under Richard’s and the school’s patronizing attitudes toward women. Meanwhile, three Lakota braves are accepted into the school at the behest of a U.S. Army officer who wants to prove that Indians can function in mainstream culture. The trio’s reluctance to participate is more and more pronounced as their upwardly mobile Black classmates antagonize them with racial asides. Unbowed won Best Feature at the 1999 American Indian Film Festival. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

So that pic of the guy who is supposedly 60 made me think of Keith Hamilton Cobb. He’s about 10 years older than me and I was shocked at how good he looked in his 40’s.

This is my favorite pic of him. LOVED him on Andromeda.

I mean gotdamn. Just gotdamn. And that hair??? There is something…

Since i have recently be spazzing over the hot asian men. I thought i would spam some hot Native american men. Just cause i can hehe.

His name is Jay Tavare

His name is Rick Mora and good lord is he fine

Oh Kent Edwards thank you for taking showers while there are cameras around.

Your hair is a part of you. If I cut it, I cut a part of me. Keeping my hair long is part of my Lakota tradition. I keep it long to honor my ancestors and our fallen warriors. Besides, [smiles], I don’t want Iktomi (a trickster spider character) to steal it.

(My inner black girl got a little tickled when he said that. Iktomi should be the last person he should be worrying about stealing his hair. :D)
